Currently only about only 50% of the renters in the USA have renter insurance. Majority of the low-income housing renters in a 2021 study are not covered by insurance. That means that the people who need it the most don’t have the cover. Today more than ever the renter insurance prices is at all time low, with rates going low as $180 a year.
