Mark Zuckerberg started the social network as a closed, college portal. The coolest thing about The Facebook (as it was known in the early days) was that it was inspired by college students and their desire to make friends and , well get laid!!! A lot has changed in terms of its user experience 10 years, not to mention its burgeoning user base of over 1.3 billion.
