World Expos have been pushing the advancement of industry and innovation for over a hundred years. In fact, some of the most important inventions of the last century were first seen by the public at these events.
The next World Expo is just around the corner, to be held in Milan in 2015, taking on the theme ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’. It will be an extraordinary international event displaying tradition and creativity in the business of food.
The city that will hold the 2020 World Expo will be announced in November 2013, following a vote by the 163 member nations of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE).
